That's what a Goff wiil do to you.
IE the same thing happened to Goff.
Either way I appreciate a good quip, but, no one reasonable is going to say that a head coach is fine if he flies off the handle with stressing out because his former qb had 4 bad games in 2020.
Normally we would question the maturity and competence of someone like that.
But you just made an inconsequential quip so I know you weren't being serious.
....
I'm glad McVay moved on. (He didn't handle the Goff disconnection as well as he could've but that is old news now and it's getting older by the day.
I wish it had ended differently without the drama but it's over and the new season is around the corner.
I've turned the page on how it ended and it has no effect on how I view McVay prior to the Goff or trade or months after it happened.
I doubt coach will handle a similar situation the same way.
He might though because NFL head coaches can be strange cats and @#$%& in this business.
I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and believe he's learned from this and will be better prepared for it in the future.
Go 2021 Rams!
I've said routinely that I think Stafford will have a good effect on McVay.
