Rams simply couldn't address every position where they had weakness and ROLB remains a weakness for us. Generally you need to get those guys early if you want a gifted pass rusher. Like with LT the Rams can try to hit on the position outside of the early rounds but it is unlikely to happen.
Re: Okorongkwo he played some off ball in college. Moved around a bit. He's a really good defensive player who does have a nice mix of power and a little bit of shakes on the rush. Will never be elite but that doesn't mean he can't have a heck of a season for us in 2021. With Donald and Floyd on that front what we need are high effort guys around them who bring it snap to snap. So yeah Oko will need to stay healthy. But I think he has enough talent to do what we need this year if he can stay on the field.
Going forward I am hopeful that Garrett can show he belongs and stick on the roster. He's a longshot but it does happen and has happened to us with Kevin Greene for example. Not an elite twitch guy and he's not particularly powerful either but he has good instincts and high production even though it was a lower level. So I remain hopeful he can be a good rotation guy for us in year one.
