I still have my issues with how Rams played Day 2, but there’s no denying these 3 things.
1. McVay wanted more explosives. With the addition of Stafford and Atwell that mission seems to have been accomplished. And I’m intrigued by this Harris kid.
2. Rams wanted to bolster run D such that they can compete with the likes of the 49ers, Packers, and Ravens. Again, big strides on run D taken in this draft with every D pick.
3. Improving on a dismal ‘20 ST unit was a must and boy, after hiring an aggressive new ST coordinator did they ever throw draft picks and UDFA’s at it. Probably mission accomplished here, too.
Hard to argue against such a 3 pronged strategy, huh?
