I have watched every snap of every game Darrell Green played from 1983-1990. (even Scott Case got voted over him for the pro bowl in 1988)
By 1988-89 his technique just got sloppier and relied on his speed, and he lost his pro bowl level of play
against the better WRs in the NFC east....his man-off coverage became mediocre at best against #1 WRs.
Anyway, DG had all the skills.....but you can't make quicks and long speed,
but you can retrain and become disciplined.Rochelle had no one challenging him who could make him look like a fool---of course he never developed technique.Rochelle is in the same mode as D Green....and in a few years, like #31 on the Rams is now, he will be a good
corner....he won't be playing in any games, or even active maybe in 2021.....he is long term prospect...
He is a great pick and will become very good.
