And while people could talk about the Rams having a lot of talent when McVay took over (and there was plenty in the cupboard), AD, Healthy Gurley, Saffold, Brockers, Hekker, GZ, Goff, nobody could figure out how the @#$%& to have a winning season since 2003.

To compare taking over Faulk, Warner, Bruce, Holt, Pace, Fletcher, Wistrom et al to what McVay took over is a bit much.

Martz had a losing record in 2002. His 3rd with the team with the aforementioned stars no less.

I liked Martz but his drafting was for @#$%& and he had a weird personality that got him blackballed from the NFL. A hard thing to do given they recycle coaches like Alcoa recycles aluminum.

When I last heard from him he was @#$%& talking the hiring of McVay by the Rams, another "foot in mouth" moment which he then bizarrely denied making.
