If not I don't see enough usage to be our 1st pick in this draft. Looks to me like Jones is a lower grade Micah type for our 2nd choice. We had every chance to get 1 of the best centers available, a much better LB'er, as well as a much more physical big WR to help Matt.
You have to assume we like Allen at C, want to continue our ILB play, and missed Tavon a bunch.
Don't like trading with the whiners, kinda like kissing a fish. May have added a couple of picks, but does that trump missing on a quality C, a faster, more athletic LB'er, a bigger and more physical WR?
Is this a sign of having Holmes move on? If he were here would this have played out like this? For that matter how much did he have in the draft process while a RAM. I watched the lions pick and it looks like they hit it pretty darn good. Did they take more time finding a dream house over draft work? Will they make me eat my words? (gladly will and hope I do).
