His stats were not great. In fact, they weren't even good. He had flashes in 19, but 20 was really his coming out party.
Even then, in the loss to Coastal Carolina, he threw for 240 1 td, 1 pick. Not exactly dominating stats vs a powerhouse like Coastal. Lol
I hear you though, but what happens is you hear how great a kid is for so long, then you go watch him and there's no way he lives up to this media created legend he has become.
