We must keep reminding ourselves that Jalen Ramsey is our 1st round pick today. Then repeat as often as necessary.
Then there’s something else. We must resign ourselves to the fact that 56 extremely high quality football players are gonna come off the board one by one until it’s our turn on Day 2. Gonna hurt to watch it unfold but that’s the way it is.
From pick 40 onward it will become increasingly excruciating to see our various favorites going to other teams. This will happen every year that we lack a 1st rounder but it never gets easier to endure, does it?
However, we can take comfort in the knowledge that there will be multiple quality football players that are excellent Ram fits just sitting there at 57 for Snead to choose from. It’s a mathematical certainty. Same thing at 88 and 103.
Day 2 is our turn to shine, especially if Snead can execute a trade down, or two.
