So ... college was the first to implement big nickels on a larger scale due to more passing and running QBs ... Until this year I'd split these athletes into Safety, ILB, or 4-3 OLB categories ... but now that having a spur in the middle of a 3-4 or having a big safety in is common, I'm going to give it it's own position.
What puts a guy here and not in "ILB" territory is generally that I don't want him going up against an OG. I want an ILB to beat that block, I want a Spur to run around it.
Spurs are not going to bee rated in thee top too often ... but Owusu Karamoah is an exception. I still don't want him taking on an OG directly.
Definitely some targets in this group I'll highlight.

Just an addendum, I'll copy and paste onto all of these …
I grade assuming “best fit” so the grades will err on the high side. This is obviously not going to happen in every instance.
I follow players their entire career … hence why some players have multiple lines of data.
Covid restrictions and the lack of a combine made this much more difficult this year. I scout on visual imprinting and having players perform one after another after watching their careers is like the cement for me … missing that is hampering. (Case in point, Cam Akers doing the Duce Staley drill between other backs jumped him a full round for me)
The other covid issue is that I'm going to miss some guys because of the extra year of eligibility, some guys came out I didn't see and some might be on the list that are going back. If I didn't see that ____ performed at a pro day I might assume they went back to school.
There will be misspellings.
