And if Allen was the answer, he would have been starting over Blythe, who though smart, would get rag-rolled. IMO, our starting C is not on the team. McVay gives playing time to upgrades, or injury.Blythe was the best he could put on the field (having Corbett, Allen & Sheldon as viable options).
Our 21' starting C will be an unsigned FA, or a rookie McVay feels good about.
