My question too. The issue with him was scheme fit. It had nothing to do with his character.
Peters' inconsistencies have always related back to his personality IMO. He's a low character player who wore out his welcome on every single team he's ever been on. He's two different guys on film, like Jeckyl and Hyde, regardless of what scheme he is playing.
I don't mind the disagreement on that either. Just my opinion.
Maybe his issues relate to his personality but I'm skeptical on that because even when he was traded the Rams said that he was a great teammate in the locker room, had no character issues, and he fit what they look for as far as passion, work ethic, etc. However, they weren't going to reup him due to a bad scheme fit. As far as I know, there is no evidence or any report that I've seen to suggest that he wore out his welcome with the Rams.
Everyone is free to have their own opinion I'm just pointing out there are no facts to back that up.
