That pick is prime real estate for the Rams. They have to get a round 1 talent there. Someone who is high on their board. It will be there and hitting big on a high end talent will make up for that lack of a top pick. I am certain there will be a top OLB, CB, ILB, or OT there. BPA will probably be RB but we don't need that.

I will admit that I've had a strong opinion that the Rams will not select a center with their first selection in the 2021 NFL draft.

I've said recently that I wouldn't be shocked if they decide to choose a center now after seeing how the first 3 waves of the free agency period ended.

If one of their top 2 rated centers are still left on the board, they might actually strongly consider drafting one of them.

I still don't think they draft a center with their first selection but it seems more plausible at the date of this post.

I think they should take the highest rated player left on the board if it matches their biggest top 2 position needs.
