I suspect that the Rams are going to be excited to see how D. Williams does this next year. If he is lights out like he was in 2020? The Rams WILL find a way to keep him. Assuming 2020 wasn't an aberration, guys like him don't come along very often. Assuming again not that he takes another leap, but is just as good and perhaps a bit better, he could be the top CB on the market next year. I'd guess that about halfway through next year if Williams is doing great, the Rams will try to extend him to avoid getting to FA.

Two great corners along with a very good inside and outside pass rush is the formula for a great D in the modern NFL.
