In 2013 he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of marijuana. He voluntarily entered a rehabilitation facility.

In 2014 he served a nine-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse and personal conduct policies.

In 2015 he was arrested for his third DUI which is when the 49er's released him.

In 2016 he was involved in an alleged domestic violence incident which is when the Raiders cut him.

He didn't play for two years and was pretty untouchable until the Cowboys signed him last year after he appealed for reinstatement.

So the question is, why did the Cowboys cut him and how many chances has he been given? Apparently he is a better player than he is/was a responsible adult.
Don't think they cut him and at the trade deadline earlier in the season he was untouchable, meaning the Cowboys had no interest in any trade for him, but he just wore down over a first full season back, and playing for a putrid defense. The Boys didn't cut him he is just a FA. I morale and prospects of the Rams will keep him focused and motivated but there were no off field issues last year.
