He never failed a physical.
Brockers was up front about having an arthritic ankle. That's something a guy can play with, but Baltimore wanted to see it. Problem was, that was the start of covid restrictions, and no way MB could come in for a physical. So Baltimore started talking about lowering what they paid him. Brockers would not go along with that so (as I recall) they rescinded the offer.
He obviously passed a physical with the Rams and had one of his best years in 2020.
And the Detroit GM who traded for him was with the Rams in 2020 and knows all about MB.
