He has a 2023 dead cap hit of 7 mil. This is in my opinion a two year deal. He saves 12 mil on the cap if cut in 2023. All according to Spottrac.

I didnt like the deal at first, but I think it is fine now. Floyd is widely recognized as having a career year but I believe his impact to the team defense is undervalued by most. Resigning him was definitely the best option the Rams had and they paid more for it. I am ok with that after seeing the structure of the contract.

JJ for 11 mil per seems like a missed opportunity but if you arent ever paying safeties than I get it.
