There's nothing particularly "we not me" about restructuring though. It just means you move money around from one cap year to another. The player don't lose anything in the process. Sometimes there's a short term gain in bonus money over salary, so instead of earning 10 M n salary across a a few months, the player suddenly gets a signing bonus instead.
