Seems like it happens a lot nowadays. I like that Edges are lumped together because some of the big guys are athletic enough to do either but there are drawbacks that's for sure. One of them being this tendency to talk about 3-4 ends as Edge types which kind of adds to the confusion.
Odeyingbo for example could probably play SOLB in a 3-4 but to my eye he tends to quit at times towards the end of plays which is a big guy trait so I figure he'll end up as an end, or 5T, or interior guy off the bench early on. He does have upside but the more of his tape I watched the more I cooled on him as a SOLB.
Re: Kendrick Green... He would be a "fit" type selection if the Rams are still planning on running a heavy zone attack on the ground. The guy was super smooth in zone, and he moves really well which the Rams seem to favor. Will that change with a new OL coach though? This new guy is a Callahan disciple so we'll see how he tweaks things initially--if he does--in how he prioritizes the linemen they bring in.
