Re: How does an opposing OC attack this Ram D?

Exactly like Green Bay did. Not everyone has the offense that Green Bay does so I will go deeper.

What I feared most last year was an up the gut running team. AD has one weakness and it's getting himself out of position trying to knife into the backfield. He is not a great anchor DL. Especially hurt in the divisional round.

The rams have bigger and better anchor DL that can stop the run but it means taking AD out.

So if the Rams commit to stopping the run, then attacking the middle with short passes to the sides against LBs is the way to go.

If you look back at the Tampa Bay game against the rams, they attempted to do just that and Brady was off for whatever reason. It started to work by the 4th quarter but he missed Antonio and their RBs a few times and their RBs dropped easy dump-off passes. Tampa Bay was their own enemy in that game, the defense wasn't as good as the stats indicate.
