As a team, in 2020 they were ranked 14th on 3rd down conversions. But that's run and pass combined.

I will be looking here at passing, and that includes the 2020 stats for JG, and the 2020 stats for Stafford.

3rd & 8+, ranked 1st
3rd & 3-7, ranked 15th
3rd & <3, ranked 29th

Rams already had it in them to be effective on throwing 3rd down conversions.

Stafford has to improve on 3rd and medium and 3rd and short, but he is joining a team that already knows how to do it, so he probably can pick that up. Having Kupp helps, as per the point made about him in the original post.

Rams as a team have to step up converting 3rd downs on the ground.
