Yep. I think a destination team like the Rams has an edge

An awful lot of very good players (probably vets) are going to have to be cut for cap cost reasons.
The Rams will likely be shopping because a good portion of these guys are going to have to sign for less than they would have in normal years..... or simply not play.

And if you must take less, why not play with a team that has a chance at a ring?
