It might be less than we at first thought, even assuming that Floyd, JJ, and Hill all walk.
I think a more than adequate DC is now in place.
Need 2 Edge players since I don’t quite trust Hollins, Lewis, and Obo to get consistent quality results just yet. But this could be done via FA and/or draft.
An upgrade at ILB would be nice, but probably not absolutely necessary, depending on Morris’ priorities.
Williams isn’t going anywhere and I love Burgess at nickel. Burgess will be an upgrade over Hill, IMO.
Safety looks both strong and deep even without JJ.
A possible player-for-player trade with either Brockers or Hav could give us one quality Edge or ILB perhaps. Either would be a twofer and solve pieces of the puzzle.
Altogether seems VERY doable, don’t you think? Frees up Snead to finish that OL and take BPA for future depth the rest of the way. Morris might finish this season as a hero much like Staley did last year.
