I've learned, especially over these last few years, that players' projections in the early stages aren't usually accurate. A couple of years ago I knew we needed a safety and I fell in love with Darnell Savage. He was projected to go in the late 3rd/early 4th and I didn't understand why and didn't see many weaknesses.

Sure enough, he goes late 1st which was higher than the 2nd round that he had climbed up to on most boards. Same with Tryon. I saw him projected in the 4th and figured he would rise as people sharpened their lists.

Now, I don't go by those projections.
