Russell Wilson is beginning to live the curse of the running QB. Those hits add up. And yes sometimes it's his oline that fails him.... but no oline perfectly protects the QB all the time. The reality is that Russ's biggest plays come from him scrambling around. And unless he stops doing that, he's going to continue to get beat up.
Wilson's career will not last as long a drop back pocket passer's. Especially with the newer rules that bubble wraps a pocket passer, so that pocket passers aren't nearly as vulnerable to injuries so their careers have the possibility of being prolonged. But running QBs? Not so much.
However if Wilson removes the scrambling/running part from his game, he will become entirely ordinary.
Sorry Russ; but what you are suffering from was inevitable. A great oline won't fix it all.
