It was Kurt Warner.
I heard a bit of his interview this morning with Mike Greenberg.
Warner factually pointed out the things that I saw: Mahomes missed more than a few make-able throws, showed a lack of patience, looking too often for the big play (he blamed Mahomes for taking such deep drops instead of looking for what the defense was giving him), missing reads, and for basically playing what was 'not one of his better games' on the biggest stage of all.
He also said that a quarterback's job is to trust the offensive line even if they have not earned it!
This is all I was after: some courage at last from an analyst to really break things down. Again, it answers my questions about what I thought I was seeing.
