I think the challenge to some of the Rams’ softness appearances is McSnead’s willingness to draft/sign bad-dude players.
They did it with Suh. But Suh (plausibly due to cap space) didn’t get an offer to come back with some rumors he wasn’t a team fit.
The bad-dude players are dangerous, because they can cost you your job if they act out as a cancer.
Arias being McVay’s senior by thirty years doesn’t seem afraid that he lacks the ability to manage the bad-dude players.
And, let me be clear: I qualify bad-dude players as those who have an inclination to punish with their play. They are not all mouth and no backbone.
And some of them are insane and you don’t want that even though they’re incredible like Charles Haley or Dexter Manley.
But the Rams need to address those exhibitions of softness, especially on the offensive side of the ball.
