I have no respect for someone who knew the defensive calls pre snap for the first six years of his career.

Any quarterback who has drive, intelligence and enough talent could survive the pressure most quarterbacks can’t who are flying blind when the know where the blitz is coming from and where the holes in coverage are.

Once you’ve gotten through the novitiate of seeing defenses pre snap, the cheating has done what it needed, bought your career enough time so you see the game in slow motion like a coach.

Had Brady not had the advantage of Belichick’s filming and Ernie Adams’ diagnosis of opposition defensive patterns, odds are Brady doesn’t stay on New England’s roster. He’s a JAG.

Fans are not forced to accept this NFL driven narrative. We know when someone’s lucked into a gift he never deserved.

The Brady phenomenon is more of a commentary on the lessons of good marketing. Find a hero for one city who’s a villain for all the others.

At least NBA’s marketing icon was real and superior in talent than his opponents and I’m talking about Jordan.
