I've rethought the Whit thing.
The Rams will pay him to play as long as he wants to play.
The guy is not only still playing at a high level, but is an incredible leader. Still has a burning passion for the game.
And with the upheaval of Goff leaving and Stafford coming in, his stability and leadership will be an important contribution because just like on this board, no doubt there are very different views of the players in the locker room about the whole thing. And these guys will need someone to talk to and I imagine Whit and Donald are those guys.
I suspect the Rams will find a way to restructure Whit to be a little more cap friendly, but to make sure he gets all his dough.
What a guy.
