You've been repeating since the GB game that they blamed the QB for that loss. As if they didn't have issues with the QB before then.
But according to Jourdan, the buildup of dissatisfaction with Goff started much earlier in the season. In fact, it was actually a conclusion that McVay came to over the last two seasons.
So from what's been reported it's inaccurate to say that the GB game was some type of significant line of demarcation.
That said she did report that they didn't feel we could get much further in the future with Goff as QB. It remains to be seen if they are right. If they don't get farther than one playoff win it will be a failure.
All starting to make sense now. One caveat is the super bowl/playoff thing... If the Rams defense remains in the top 5 and overall as a team remain relatively healthy, then yes they should go further in the playoffs. But anything can happen. I think we will know if it was the right move by the games played during the season.
