Yes Dog... there was some competition for Stafford services and the Rams had to overpay to get him.
I have to believe the Rams offer was the best with all the intangibles involved.
What they gave up to move on from Goff is very telling of what Jared's value to the NFL was.
I'm sure Snead put feelers out to several GM's on what teams were willing to give up for Goff's contract and talent level.
Sadly we had to pay dearly to get Jared off of the roster and off of the $ books $
I woke up a happy Rams fan today and I love the way this regime does things.
They put there big boy pants on and will eat crow when they have to.
Not one player will ever be above the team and anyone on this roster is subject to be traded.
