I like Perriman as a deep threat only. He's 6'-2" but doesn't play like a big WR. Not sure how he is now, but I remember him having iffy hands. Not a great route runner, but he can get deep and if he's even, he's leavin.
IMO, if you want a guy to run 9 routes and deep slants, he's your man. The price should be right as well. Well maybe not for a team that is over the cap, but lets say reasonable.
Ross is always injured and has never lived up to his immense draft billing. He ran a 4.22 at the combine after a torn acl and a menicus repair (separate issues) but in the pros he has played 3,13,8 and 3 games.
He can be electric, but availability is the best ability and he is just never available. But to take a flyer on a vet min 25 or 26 year old with 4.22 speed and good hands as a 3rd or 4th option depending on the situation? Seems like a no brainer. Still don't like him that much. lol
