Obviously the open competition part but beyond that, he said Goff needs to reduce the turnovers AND increase the explosive plays. This is what he's being told.

IMO, that's the issue. He can't be so careful just to limit turnovers because then you don't get explosive plays. If he can't do both he may lose his job.
