Rodgers had 2 chances in the 4th quarter when his D gave him 2 stops with the score 28-23. And what does he do? He goes for -5 yards.
If that happened to Goff, he'd take a ton of heat.
Then Rodgers gets another chance down by 8, but looks like crap in the redzone. But LaFleur takes Rodgers off the hook by kicking the FG instead of going for it on 4th down.
Now here's the sad truth, Rodgers only has 17 4th quarter comeback in his career. That ranks 48th overall all-time. He's awful in this regard.
Here's some of the greats:
Manning 43
Brady 39
Brees 36
Roethlisberger 35
Unitas 34
Marino 33
You get the picture, but to make it ever worse here's some not so greats:
Testaverde 29
Bledsoe 24
Andy Dalton 23
Cutler 23
And Rodgers has only 17. Please, his legacy is clear.
Rodgers is a front runner. Everyone is screaming that LaFleur took the ball out of Rodgers hands, but maybe LaFleur was just playing the correct odds.
