Staley has only been in the league 4 years, he has not really worked with a lot of people in the NFL circle, just Broncos and Rams coaches, I suspect he will hire some Broncos staff as well.
I really want to see what sort of Staff he puts together, Taking Pleasant as a DC would not be a bad move at all. The Chargers are paying him to basically take the spotlight off McVay and the Rams and put it squarely on the Chargers. I still think it was a bad hire by the Chargers, but only because I feel Staley is not ready, His Body of work in the NFL is good but not enough longevity to give him the HC job. Daboll would have been the perfect pick for them, Chargers Blew it, Just like they blew moving from SD to LA. But of course, that's just my opinion. I wish him luck, his first hire...Joe Barry... Not a very exciting move.
