That's basically what they were doing there. I don't think it's some crazy amazing achievement from the coaching staff either.
What was amazing is that the Packers won the matchups across our front over and over and over and not just in the run game when they motion the ILB out of the way.
I can't recall a team doing that to our defensive front this season. Not enough people talking about Green Bay's offensive line IMO.
Donald didn't play on run downs. He only came in obvious passing plays. Green Bay's OL is excellent but I don't think they would have dominated like that if Donald was playing his usual snaps.
according to McVay, Donald subbed himself that day and it was clear that after halftime he just couldn't go anymore.....such a shame we really didn't have the heart of our defense that day....you could tell early with the energy level compared to the week before
