Has any other team given out big contracts only to dump them shortly thereafter?
Regardless of how you feel about the contract in the first place, it shows high level mismanagement of player personnel.
Just seems like there’s a disconnect between what Demoff is doing and what McVay is doing.
You can't cherry pick, Max. What about the extensions of Donald, Woods, Kupp? Those contracts have panned out pretty well. The story is not yet finished with Goff. If I were a betting man (and I am), I'd bet the rent on him.
All this hand wringing is comical.
The Donald extension was a no brainer. He is clearly one of the greatest players in NFL history. I don't know about the extension for Kupp just yet, I worry about his injury history. Woods extension was fine, and it wasn't a huge number like the Gurley, Cooks, and Goff contracts.
