I think I am fine with Hill leaving

I like Hill, I think he is a great corner, I hope he gets paid and we get a third round pick, but having Ramsey has showed me a few things.

His combination of football IQ and outspoken reactions have revealed when others do not do the right thing. With the offenses these days you need smart defenders. Seems like Hill does great and then doesn't, the lack of consistency might be due to a lack of processing skill. I might be thinking with recency bias, but it has made me think about the need for intelligent players.

Everyone knows you need that at QB, generally people think you need that on the O Line, but the more complex systems get the more it becomes a premium everywhere.

Does anyone know how David Long's football intelligence is?
