yes it seems a slam dunk with CA, but it also looked like we found a bonified go to Kelce-like TE in Higbee at the end of last year and that not only did not come about, but he never even got his foot in the door. I just can't figure Coach out at times, as you noted he seems to go away from what is working quite a lot......over thinking? That is why IMO to really get EVERYONE in the pot I wish he would cede over his use of himself as the OC and take the back seat... who allows full access to the game plan and can "offer" up his own tweaks.
Cam is an obvious, but so was Higbee (as a receiving TE, never as an in-line type).....yes he uses him, but not like it was going at the end of 2019.....How much of that was/is on Goff doing his reads may come into question there, but he's always talking about guys being an extension of the staff on the field, I would hope your QB is 1 of those extensions....
