No one is disagreeing with you that the defense was awful today. But here's the thing. You're refusing to acknowledge that the offense still failed multiple times. Hekker punt four times today. And we had a turnover on downs. 5 empty possessions. So that's 5 possessions with no points (I think 3 of those were 3 and out) vs 3 scoring drives and just 2 touchdowns.
Not to mention we didn't have our #1 defense. This wasn't them just not showing up. Freakin' Donald was playing with torn cartilage. You can't act like that's our defense if you take Donald away.
The offense was just the lame offense it's been all year. Akers had 5.1 ypc. Receivers weren't dropping passes. Goff just needs perfect protection and all day to throw to wide open receivers to actually score points. The Rams, like pretty much every team, can't usually provide that in the playoffs.
