If you play you get kudos for that but if you play and lose injured then the team lost and as far as I know there is no stat for what you might have done.
I don't make much of any of the tears after a game. I don't cry when we lose and if they do its because they played or tried to play and were invested in the game. Stuff happens this team has flaws and we have Players and Coaches who get paid for better results but alas that's football.
Back to the drawing board. Donald's rep is not damaged but it will not give him a break next year as he will be older and eventually the potential will be there for injuries. We have to continue to build to be better so that injuries are not seen as an excuse for losses like this.
