I am just trying to anticipate and think out loud.
If the Chargers want Staley he must bring in a strong OC. The Chargers have a true opportunity to develop a franchise QB.
Which NFL offensive coaches have Staley worked with? He was on Nagy's staff in Chicago.
"Bears passing game coordinator Dave Ragone is the favorite to join Smith as offensive coordinator in Atlanta, sources told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler."
Is there anyone else on Nagy's staff ready to be an OC? Is current Bears WR coach (and former Rams WR) Mike Furrey ready to be an OC after 3 years as Nagy's WR coach? John DeFilippo joined the Bears as Staley was leaving. DeFilippo probably moves up from being Nagy's QB coach to becoming his QB coach/passing game coordinator.
Does O'Connell go with Staley to the Chargers in order to call his own plays? Or does every year O'Connell get with McVay matter more towards the goal of becoming an NFL HC?
Does Rams passing game coordinator Shane Waldron become Staley's OC?
