A few comments on Rams/Packers from another board...

Here’s unclesams...

The Packers beat quite a few lollipop teams this year with a tremendously weak schedule, as they only played 4 teams out of 16 that finished with winning records and 3 of those 4 teams that had winning records beat them and they nearly lost to several of those losing teams like the Lions, Jaguars, and Panthers. Ironically, two of the three teams that were in the playoffs beat them (Buccaneers and Colts), and the Vikings beat them as a non playoff team. So 12 of there 13 wins came against teams that finished the season with losing records.

On the other hand, despite our QB woes, 8 of our 10 wins were against teams that finished the season with winning records. Ehat's not being talked about is the Rams have beat 4 of the 6 playoff teams in the NFC bracket (Buccaneers, Seahawks, Washington, and Bears).

I just found it very interesting that no one has brought this up....Packers played 16 games and only 4 of those teams finished with a winning record and 75% of the teams they played with a winning record beat them. That's something that needs to be discussed more by our forum.

Another by unclesams...

In the first game against the Packer, the Vikings had a balanced offense with Cousins passing for 160 yards and Dalvin Cook rushing for 163 yards, but the main thing that stands out is the amount of pressure that the Vikings brought on Rodgers with just a 4 man rush. Rodgers threw an interception, threw the ball 41 times, and was pressured over half of his drop backs. Packers lost that game.

But against the Buccaneers, Rodgers was only able to throw for 160 yards, zero TD's, two interceptions, sacked 4 times, QBR of 12, and a passer rating of 35. The Buccaneers held Jones to 15 yards rushing on 10 carries and Adam's only had 61 yards receiving. The similarities from this game versus the game against the Viking...once again, the Buccaneers was able to bring pressure with 4 rushers and Devonte Adam's was held in check and on lockdown....Packers also lost that game.

The bottom line is this, the Rams bring pressure with 4 rushers better than any team in the NFL and we have Ramsey to lock down Adam's who is no where close to the talent of Hopkins or Metcalf. In my opinion, the Rams are going to do the same recipe as the Viking and Buccaneers did but the Rams play this way anyways so I feel the Rams are going to take the Packers to the woodshed on Saturday and it may be surprising to the media, but not me. I see the Rams winning the game 30 - 17.
