It's only been his first season as an NFL DC.
Anywhere he goes, he will not have the talent he has right now in L.A. with Donald, Ramsey and the rest of our DEFENSIVE STUDS!
He stays...He creates an NFL Juggernaut of a defense for the next 3-4 years...Kroenke keeps upping his contract with more money....McVay even gives Staley DC/Asst HC status...Then, when AD retires, Staley will have a GREAT RESUME' and will get his "Choice" of any HC job out there.
Who knows, Maybe Staley is very happy staying a DC...Most coaches have NO aspiration to be a HC because being a HC is not all it's cracked up to be. They like the X's and the O's and do not want the reporters, TV meetings, endless wine and dine dinners after a long day. They like the freedom to study film and create a game plan.
