He was in the room when the DC was making up those plans, he was in on them, but he was not the maker. As far as Rodgers numbers and the wins...those plans also did not include our guys on the field doing the D schemes. I don't think that Staley is going to look back that much (2-3 years) ago to get what the packers are doing now or use what Aaron was doing back then.
His familiarity with Rodgers IMO was solely by way of his coaching position and his players under his wing, not the way it is now. IMO it's Sean who has the better idea as IMO I think that LaFleur has taken what HE learned under McVay and brought that to Rodgers and his skill players.
Numbers that Rodgers got 2-3 years ago against teams that Staley was a part of don't mean much now...those players aren't with us, and Rodgers team mates are not the same same either, nor is their HC in charge of that O.....The only direct piece is Sean to LaFleur.
