Where was it reported that it was torn cartilage in his ribs? If you have a link, please provide it. When McVay was asked about it yesterday, here's his response:

McVay's answer really tells us nothing. We don't know the severity or if it's cracked, bruised, punctured, cartilage, etc. I think they're going to keep this as close to the vest as possible for as long as possible.
