Could the brace Cooper was wearing had a hand in his knee?

heard it was deemed a knee contusion....You would think if he would have hurt his knee it would have been on that maneuver he made to come back on Goffs' pass...had to slow down twist around and reach back for the ball. Instead it looked like he hurt his knee doing little more than standing around on a the play late in the game.

I'm wondering if the brace being hit on or the brace grabbing at his knee was the issue?
