And I think I am correct when the progressions are from deep to short. That was basically a 2 man route with the RB as the late 3rd option. Higbee is open and Goff isn't squeezing the trigger. He is absolutely gun shy at this point.
Or he is seeing ghosts. Its hard for me to believe a 5th year QB is seeing ghosts.
I've heard McVay point blank say that more than once.
I think Goff is scared of making mistakes and he's erring on the side of extreme caution.
