1. He's only had 1 year as an NFL coordinator
2. Teams may think that his success has as much to do with his skills as it is with having Ramsey and Donald to work with.
3. Offensive coaches tend to be in higher demand, especially with young QB's, as many of the coaching vacancies do.
4. The NFL is hopefully trying to improve it's minority hiring record.
What is valuable about bringing in Staley is picking his brain regarding who he'd bring in as staff.
And I say this with the caveat that I never thought Zak Taylor was a viable candidate either.
Next year I could see us losing Staley.
