He recognized that Wolford's athleticism and run instincts in extending drives was necessary for our offense. I did feel that he grew more confident as he saw John him reading the defense as coached and not he being hesitant to take shots that were called. Goff is able to do the dame and has done the same but many have forgotten that. Goff benefits from this imo. He had better learn from it. Goff was scared to run vs Seahawks and way too tentative. Our offense is potentially better with a QB that can throw like Goff and run like Wolford.
BTW, I am not confident Goff is ready for next week fully healthy. Goff has to take snaps not just throw the ball.
