Assuming we can beat Cards without a crippled Akers, it would sure be nice to have a healthier Akers in the playoffs. An extra week of rest could be a significant help in the kid’s recovery, making him that much more effective when the chips are really down.

Plus, how much more effective could Akers be this week over Brown/Jones? I dunno...

Gotta trust the docs and coaches on this decision, I guess.
